PTC Group – Engineering & IT Experts has announced that it has around 200 job openings available until the end of the year, with 32 of them for Portugal (Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Aveiro, Leiria, Marinha Grande, Lisbon, Venda do Pinheiro, Oeiras). Globally, the positions are spread across Brazil, Argentina, Belgium, France, and Mexico. Since the beginning of the year, PTC Group has already hired more than 400 people.

Available positions include QA Engineer, Backend Engineer (Algorithms), Architect/DevOps Engineer (Azure), Cloud Engineer, Java Architect, Test & Automation QA, Data Governance Analyst, Manager Process Engineering, QA Automation Engineer (Cypress and/or Playwright), UX/UI, Product Analyst, among others.

The Portuguese company, which develops agile service solutions, engineering, and talent management, aims to reach a total of about 7,000 employees worldwide by 2030. With only six years to achieve this goal, it will be necessary to expand the team by approximately 1,000 people per year.

“This accelerated growth brings the challenge of finding and training qualified talent in an increasingly competitive market. Therefore, the implementation of robust internal training and development programs becomes essential,” the company explains.

Positions are offered in in-person, hybrid, or remote formats, covering different experience levels and specializations, with opportunities for permanent hires, internships, and consultancy roles. The recruitment areas cover various sectors, such as banking, telecommunications, technology, industry, among others.

PTC Group (now LUZA Group), which focuses on service solutions, engineering, and talent management, recorded a global turnover of 26 million euros in 2023. The company forecasts a 34% increase for 2024, having achieved double-digit growth over the past few years while expanding its activities to several countries.

The company, which offers a broad range of specialized services in engineering, design, consulting, IT, training, recruitment, and Industry 4.0 solutions, was founded in 2006 by Portuguese entrepreneur Tiago Monteiro. It has grown from a small family business into a multinational company with over 1,200 employees worldwide. Its headquarters in Oliveira de Azeméis employs about 100 people and supports both national and international projects.

Although the company opened offices in Mexico and Brazil between 2008 and 2012, its most significant growth occurred during the pandemic. “In two years, we grew from 50 to 500 people due to the new remote work habits brought by the pandemic. Previously, we had to handle work visas and negotiate relocation terms. Nowadays, we send the computer by mail, and the contract is signed via DocuSign, all remotely,” explains Tiago Monteiro.
